The structure in the form of a grotto with stone stairs and arches was built by local residents after the 20th century.
The waters of the spring descend from the mountain heights to the grotto and flow from the bas-relief of the lion’s head (“Sher” – lion, “bulok” – source). Argued that the image of a lion was not chosen by chance. Residents believed that lions once lived in the mountains of Zaamin.
The waters of the source are famous for their high calcium content, and they resemble chilled milk in taste.
