In 1991 N.K.Abdurahmanov took over the  theatre and creative company formed by them in 1988, the theater-studio “Dard” organically joined the staff of Theatre for Young Audiences. After coming to the theater N.K.Abdurahmanova with a group of his students, Theatre for Young People has reached the next stage of its development. Not only was the art director who changed the whole system of the device of the theater, but also a creative “generator of ideas” with the established vision of the theater and the system of education of the future of “their” actors who now make up the basis of the troupe. In 1991, the theater was opened a studio school with an enrollment of skills and other disciplines future actors. High school graduates pouring into the studio theater troupe.

Changes in the inner life, change the foreign policy of the theater logically led to the renaming of the 1998 Tashkent Theatre for Young Audiences in the Youth Theatre of Uzbekistan. In a short time, the artistic director Nabi Abdurakhmanov led youth theater among the leading creative teams of the country, who know and love outside of the country and would gladly invite you to tour and various international festivals.

Since 1997, the theater has been member of the International Association of Children’s and Youth Theatre – ASSITEJ and N.K.Abdurahmanov – President of its’s center in Uzbekistan. Today the theater is known far beyond the borders of his country and has been in contact with the embassies of many countries and international organizations concerned with the quality, the highly skilled art.
