The national stand of Uzbekistan was presented at the tourist exhibition “ITB Berlin”

From March 7 to March 9 this year, the traditional international tourism exhibition “ITB Berlin” is being held in Berlin, where the national stand of Uzbekistan is also presented.

The Uzbek delegation, presenting the national stand at the ITB Berlin-2023 tourism exhibition, makes proposals to popularize the country's tourism potential, new tourist destinations and, of course, the Tashkent International Tourism Fair, which is a vivid reflection of the country's tourism industry.

The delegation of Uzbekistan to ”ITB Berlin-2023" was presented: Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Uzbekistan, SUE “National PR Center”, JSC “Uzbekistan Airways”, manager of the tourist complex “Silk Road Samarkand", travel companies of Uzbekistan: Compass, Creative Tours, Peopletravel, Asia Tour Elite, Asia Advetures, EuroAsia Travel, Central Asia Travel, Marakanda Travel, Sezam Travel and Silk Road travel.

On the first day of the exhibition, representatives of the Uzbek delegation held a number of business meetings, signed cooperation agreements to promote the country's tourism potential abroad and increase the flow of tourists with the “BBC News” channel, the Australian company “Lonely Planet”, the Korean travel company “Curious Korea”, the German company “IPD (Import Promotion Desk)”, a media company Dudes.com and the IT company “Amedeus”, with the company “Allianz selbständiger Reiseunternehmen - Bundesverband e.V.”. Meetings were also held with representatives of tour operators “FTI Touristik” and “Globalis Erlebnisreisen”, the Turkmen travel company “Pearl of Asia”, the Saudi travel company “Saudi International Travel Company”, as well as the Indian tourism Corporation “OTM” and the Indian railway company “Indian Railway Catering & Tourism Corporation Ltd”.


In addition, a number of meetings are also scheduled for March 8-9 within the framework of the exhibition:

- March 8: with representatives of the World Organization “UNWTO marketing expert”, with the Director of International Trade Euronews, with representatives of the Greek society “Greek National Tourism Organization”, Kazakhstan society “Kazakh Tourism National Company” JSC, Italian society “Italian National Tourism Board", German media organization “Webedia", with the leadership Saxon Educational Center for Economic Sciences, with representatives of the airline “Flynas”, PR and marketing company “Swiss Gretz Communication", media company “Expedia Group”, with representatives of the British International Media agency “Global TV Experts”, the airlines “Mangold Consulting GmbH”, “Lufthansa”, “Eurowings”, “Ryanair”, “Condor”, the French media platform “Generation Voyage" and the travel company “Clicktripz”;

- March 9: with representatives of the Tourism promotion Department of the Tokyo Bureau of Conferences and Visitors of Japan and the tourism organization “Japan National Tourism Organization”, the German publishing house “FVW Medien” and the tourist show “VIA Urlaub-Service GmbH”, the publishing company “Matador Network Tourism”, the Ministry of Tourism of Indonesia, the Swiss “GRETZ PR Holding” and Russian “AVIAREPS Russia PR" marketing companies.


ITB Berlin has been the world's leading tourism fair since 1966. The ITB Berlin Convention is the largest event in the field of international tourism. In 2022, the fair was held in an online format on a web platform itb.com and included more than 100 sessions with 223 speakers from 125 countries. The fair was attended by more than 60,700 people.


At the stand of Uzbekistan, which has been a permanent participant of the ITB Berlin tourism exhibition since 2009, national traditions, customs and rituals of our country were presented through colorful cultural performances. As part of the event, pilaf, the main historical dish of our dastarkhan, was prepared and distributed to the visitors.
