MALTourism Expo Japan 2022: Uzbekistan participates in one of the largest exhibitions in Asia!
Returning to Tokyo in 2022 after four years, Tourism Expo Japan 2022 once again provides exhibitors with the opportunity to meet tourism industry professionals. Tourism Expo Japan 2022 is being held from September 22 to 25 in Tokyo, Japan.
On September 22, the official opening of the National Stand of Uzbekistan, organized by the Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Heritage of the Republic of Uzbekistan together with the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Japan and the Japan International Cooperation Agency, took place. At the opening, the Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Tourism and Cultural Heritage of the Republic of Uzbekistan Aziz Abdukhakimov delivered a welcoming speech.
"The tourism sector was defined by the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Miromonovich Mirziyoyev as one of the strategic directions of the country's national economy. Uzbekistan and Japan have great potential in the field of tourism. The history of Japanese travel to Uzbekistan goes back centuries, because trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian relations of this country developed through the Great Silk Road. The countries of Central Asia with a large number of natural and cultural heritage sites undoubtedly have a huge tourist potential. With such a potential, we will certainly show our best tourist destinations to tourists tired of the pandemic", – said Aziz Abduhakimov.
Tourism EXPO Japan 2022 is one of the largest events of the year, which will be visited by more than 200,000 guests from 136 countries, both tourism business professionals and private visitors. More than 1441 companies and tourist organizations take part in the exhibition, including Uzbekistan with a Central Asian stand!
Uzbekistan comes up with a national and tourism stand in order to show and acquaint our tourism potential and promote our tourism brand.
Within the framework of the exhibition, representatives of the delegation of Uzbekistan are holding active negotiations with colleagues from foreign countries. Visitors to the National stand highly appreciate the cardinal reforms carried out in Uzbekistan under the leadership of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev in all areas. Particular attention of foreign tour operators and tourism campaigns is attracted by the deep and dynamic changes taking place in the field of tourism in our country.
According to experts in the tourism industry, the interest of the Japanese side in the tourism market of Uzbekistan is growing from year to year.
By the way, international exhibitions are the main means for manufacturers to promote their brand on the market, this is a great way to improve their national image through their exhibition pavilions. So the first world exhibition was organized and held in London in 1851. For example, the famous Eiffel Tower in Paris was also built for one of these exhibitions, held in 1889.
