MALTourism platform "Tabarruk ziyorat" is to be launched in Uzbekistan
On February 28, a meeting dedicated to the improvement of the new tourism platform "Tabarruk ziyorat" was held in the office of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. The meeting was attended by experts from the Secretariat of the Organization of Turkic States (OTG), the Department for the Development of Domestic and Pilgrimage Tourism of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the International Islamic Academy, the Center for Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan and the Academy of Sciences for Pilgrimage Tourism.
Recall that at the meeting of the heads of member states and observers of the Organization of Turkic States, on November 12, 2021 in Istanbul, with the participation of the head of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, a roadmap was jointly developed and the city of Kokand was declared the first "Tourist capital of the Turkic world", initiatives were also put forward for the organization within the framework of the “Tabarruk ziyorat “project such events as exhibitions of artisans, ethno-sports competitions, preservation and restoration of cultural heritage.
Also, the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On measures to accelerate the development of cooperation with the Turkic states in the field of tourism" outlines the task of creating a tourist platform "Tabarruk ziyorat", which is conducted in the languages of the member states of the OTG, as well as integrating the platform with the official website of the Organization of Turkic States.
In addition, the Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States decided to take practical measures to improve “Tabarruk ziyorat” tourism platform, organize an interactive map of sacred places on it, as well as launch the presentation of the platform before the 8th meeting of tourism ministers of the member States and observers of the OTG, which is to be held in Kazakhstan in June 2023.
At the meeting in Tashkent, opinions and proposals were expressed on filling the tourist platform "Tabarruk ziyorat" with high-quality information testifying to the role and place of Uzbekistan in the civilization of the Turkic world.
