Uzbekistan has launched a partnership with the Russian travel company Russian Express as part of a strategic campaign to comprehensively promote the country as an attractive travel destination.
As part of this collaboration, a series of workshops will be held in six major Russian cities — St. Petersburg, Kazan, Novosibirsk, Yekaterinburg, and Moscow. These events will serve as a platform for direct dialogue between tourism operators from both countries, enabling experience sharing, presentations of new tourism products, and the establishment of business connections.
Each event is expected to attract between 500 and 1,500 tourism professionals — including travel agents, tour operators, media representatives, and industry experts.
In addition, a large-scale media campaign is planned, covering specialized online platforms, social media, news outlets, and email newsletters. Webinars, promotional publications, and banner advertisements will aim to raise awareness of Uzbekistan among Russian tourists and generate greater interest in traveling to the country.
