Uzbekistan’s stand was presented at the international exhibition “Russia Halal Expo” within the framework of “KazanForum”

May 14, the exhibition of halal products “Russia Halal Expo” started at the Kazan Expo International Exhibition Center. It was organized as part of the XV International Economic Forum “Russia - Islamic World: KazanForum”, which takes place in the capital of Tatarstan from May 14 to 19.

The KazanForum business program will unite 12 thematic tracks: international cooperation, economics, tourism, business, science and technology, Islamic finance and investment, sports, halal industry and others. The program includes 125 thematic sessions with the participation of experts from Russian regions, countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and other countries.

The national stand of the Republic of Uzbekistan, with the support of the Export Promotion Agency, demonstrates the export potential of 8 sectors of the economy. Among the participants at the “Made in Uzbekistan” stands are the Tourism Committee under the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Agriculture, the Uztekstilprom Association, the Uzcharmsanoat Association, the Uzeltehsanoat Association, and the Agency for the Development of the Pharmaceutical Industry , Hunarmand Association, IT Park Uzbekistan.

During the exhibition, representatives of the Tourism Committee held meetings aimed at developing the tourism potential of our country with the RBC TV channel, representatives of the State Committee for Tourism of the Republic of Tatarstan, as well as the Chairman of the Iranian-Afghan diaspora in Tatarstan Emam Nazar and the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Representative of the Republic of Uganda in Russia Kizige Moses.

In addition, visitors to the exhibition were presented with presentations on the tourism and investment potential, history and hospitality of modern Tashkent, ancient Bukhara and Samarkand.

Uzbek-made halal products are not only actively conquering the local market, but are also seeking to establish themselves in other countries. The exhibition has become a convenient platform for cooperation, where manufacturers can get acquainted with competitors, find new suppliers and tell about themselves, and buyers can explore a wide range of quality goods and services.
