Youth Tourism Week will be held in Uzbekistan

The first decade of January 2023 in Uzbekistan will be dedicated to the Week of Youth Tourism.

The week is held in order to organize youth sightseeing trips to the famous cities of Uzbekistan and their attractions during the New Year holidays. Within the framework of the week, trips around Uzbekistan will be organized for university students and schoolchildren, students and youth with disabilities on the basis of seasonal preferential tourist packages on holidays.

Also, during the week, collective youth visits to cultural heritage sites, museums, theaters and cinemas will be organized, theatrical performances showing our history will be shown, the Youth Tourist Caravan project and the Island Tourism Week in the Republic of Karakalpakstan will be held in all regions, high-level reading days will be organized, meetings will be organized on the basis of the program with young people who have achieved high results.

We would like to remind you that within the framework of the state program “Travel to Uzbekistan!” the Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Heritage announced discounts on cultural heritage sites and museums.


In addition, within the framework of the Week, “O‘zbekiston temir yo‘llari” JSC and Uzbekistan Airways JSC established discounts on intercity bus, air and railway tickets, as well as voluntary discounts on transport services of business entities.

To participate in the Youth Tourism Week and travel to the regions, you can contact youth policy activists in mahalla committees throughout the republic.

The Youth Tourism Week is held in accordance with the Presidential Decree of April 30, 2022 “On additional measures to diversify domestic tourism services”. The event is organized by the Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Heritage in cooperation with the Agency for Youth Affairs, the Ministry for the support of the mahalla and the older generation, as well as the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education.
