Beauty – it is own for everyone. We traveled a lot, met sunrises and saw off sunsets in different parts of the world, tasted new food, studied the lives of people of different nations. And you have noticed that every nation has its own distinctive feature, its own extraordinary truth – the soul. We have been searching for ways to tell you about the soul of our people, so that you can go through your journey (perhaps once again) and get into those unforgettable feelings.
The soul of our people is in thanksgiving. We like to say “Rahmat” that means “Thank you”. Every day, when we wake up, we look for an excuse, however insignificant, to say, “Thank you”. We love this “austerity” of thanksgiving so much that when we wake up, cook a meal, order a taxi, buy a thing, fall asleep, we say “Thank you”. Any dispute in Uzbekistan is resolved with the magic phrase “Mayli, rahmat” (OK, thank you).Thanksgiving is not only a word, but also an action. Do you know why Uzbeks are the friendliest people in the world? Our people believe that as long as they are kind to others, their life will be the same as well. Feed a bird, give directions, give a chocolate to an unfamiliar child, these are not trifles – this is one of the reasons, why we live – to bless our environment and ourselves.
Beauty – it is own for everyone. You cannot argue with that. However, we know for sure that the beauty of our people is in their soul. In a soul that is open to life, loves life and everyone on the way, is ready to help a stranger, even if he does not know how, but will certainly help.
