Islam Ota Mosque

One of the oldest mosques in Uzbekistan, the Islom ota Mosque has a 300-year history. Earlier it was called "Zhurabek", now it is renamed in honor of the first President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov.

In 2015, the mosque suffered from a fire, after which reconstruction works were carried out here, which doubled the territory of the complex with a capacity of up to 10 thousand people. There is also a library, which contains rare editions and original manuscripts.

The complex is decorated with a huge blue dome, a high minaret near the mosque and four small minarets at its corners.
