The New York Times has included Bukhara in the list of 52 places to go in 2025. The prominent American newspaper highlights this ancient city, which is a key point on the Silk Road. 
The article notes that in the fall of 2025, the first Bukhara Biennale will take place, drawing attention to contemporary art. From September 5 to November 20, the event will feature works by renowned global artists, including British sculptor Antony Gormley and other distinguished creators. The biennale will be held in the historical center of the city, surrounded by caravanserais, religious schools, and other architectural masterpieces of Islamic culture, many of which are centuries old.
Additionally, The New York Times reminds its readers that travel to Uzbekistan has become significantly easier with the launch of two national airlines, Silk Avia and Air Samarkand, which began operating last year.
