MALArtists from member countries of the Economic Cooperation Organization paint the historical and modern appearance of the ancient cities of Uzbekistan
Artists from Iran, Pakistan, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, as well as artists from Uzbekistan, were invited to the creative trip organized at the initiative of the Tourism Committee of Uzbekistan.
Yesterday the artists visited Samarkand.
“The ancient architecture of Samarkand is an inexhaustible source of inspiration and a storehouse of ideas for creativity,” says the famous Uzbek artist Dilorom Mamedova. “I took part in a plein air that took place in Samarkand on the eve of the SCO in 2022. Then I visited all the sights. But today I am discovering Samarkand again.”
