The Center for Islamic Civilization is the largest religious research complex, the construction of which was initiated by the decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev dated June 23, 2017, and the foundation of the Center took place on the day of Eid al-Fitr in 2018.

The building of the Center, designed in the architectural style of the Eastern Middle Ages, is located on Korasaroy Street in the capital and occupies more than 10 hectares. The building is surrounded on four sides by 34-meter-high portals. The monumental 65-meter dome in the center of the building gives a special charm to the object.
An exhibition gallery is located on the ground floor of the building. It highlights the creative potential of our ancestors through modern technology and digital devices. On the second floor there is a huge library containing more than a million books.

The museum exposition of the center reflects various periods, from the "Pre-Islamic civilizations" to the present day. The history of these periods is demonstrated through various artifacts, handwritten sources, photographs and multimedia media. It highlights in detail the contribution of our great thinkers and scientists to the Islamic enlightenment. In the very center of the exhibition is the Hall of the Holy Quran, it is here that the ancient manuscript of the Quran of Uthman will be located.

The Time Capsule will become an interactive project where visitors will leave messages for future generations. In it, guests will be able to convey their thoughts and wishes to future generations.
The Wall of Time is a huge multimedia panel where important historical stages, great discoveries and celebrities of different eras are brought to life using holography, installations and projection technologies.
These technological solutions allow visitors to travel through the ages.
