MAL“Destination Forum” Germany-Uzbekistan tourism forum
The “Destination Forum” conference was dedicated to the discussion of the prospects of cooperation in the field of tourism between the businessmen of the two countries - Germany and Uzbekistan.
On May 16 of this year, an international conference "Destination Forum" was held, organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism jointly with the German Tourism Association (Deutscher Reiseverband e.V. -DRV) with the participation of representatives of the tourism industry of Germany and Uzbekistan.
Also, the event was attended by Minister of Culture and Tourism Ozodbek Nazarbekov, President of the German Tourism Association Norbert Fiebig, as well as heads of major travel companies of Germany and Uzbekistan.
At the event, the Minister of Culture and Tourism O. Nazarbekov emphasized that press tours and trips to our country are being organized for leading German media representatives and tour operators.
During the forum, the "Destination Forum" conference and B2B format meetings were held with the participation of entrepreneurs in the field of tourism. According to Norbert Fiebig, president of the German Tourist Association, the fact that Germans can stay in Uzbekistan in a visa-free regime for up to 60 days is of great importance.
In addition, the cooperation of the states of Uzbekistan and Germany in the field of tourism, the development of new tourist routes of interest to tourists, as well as the conclusion of contracts between tourist companies and the expansion of cooperation networks are important aspects in the development of economic relations of the two countries.
