Euronews: Traveling the Silk Road: Exploring Uzbekistan by train

In order to promote the unique cultural and historical attractions of Uzbekistan and attract tourist to our country, the global, international television channel Euronews has shown the next episode of the Explore program about traveling by train through the cities of the Silk Road.

In the new episode of Explore, viewers will take a fascinating journey through the iconic cities of the Silk Road in Uzbekistan. Starting in Tashkent, travelers will take the Afrosiab high-speed train to Samarkand to immerse themselves in its rich history and visit the ancient archaeological site of Afrosiab.

The next stage will be the exploration of the Bagizagan vineyards, where winemaking traditions dating back to the era of Alexander the Great will be revealed.

The trip will end with a visit to Bukhara, famous for its madrassas and unique pilaf (osh sofi), which is prepared according to ancient recipes. Bukhara is also recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, making it especially significant for the cultural and historical heritage of the region.
