On July 18, 2021, was held an official awarding ceremony for the first graduates-Masters of the “Silk Road” International University of Tourism.
Today, on July 18, an official ceremony of awarding the first graduates-masters of the Silk Road International University of Tourism was held in Samarkand. Master's degrees in tourism were awarded to 21 graduates who studied for two years under training programs operating within the framework of 3 areas of education in the field of tourism.
The diplomas were presented to the graduates by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan – Minister of Tourism and Sports, Rector of the Silk Road International University of Tourism Aziz Abdukhakimov.
In his welcoming speech, the Deputy Prime Minister noted the importance of professional personnel in the field of tourism, which, thanks to the knowledge gained by foreign and Uzbek professors of the university, will contribute to the development of the tourism industry in Uzbekistan.
The event was also attended by the head of the deputy of head of the Samarkand region for tourism development Botirjon Nurullayev, rectors of leading universities of Uzbekistan, foreign guests and media representatives.
