From 18 to 21 December this year, the 21st International Gastronomic Culinary Festival was held in Istanbul, where representatives of the Association of Cooks of Uzbekistan took part.
The delegation of Uzbek chefs demonstrated high results at the "Istanbul Gastronomy Festival 2024" and won a number of prizes in individual categories.
Results:
• Grand Prix (1st place, gold) - Nazir Alimatova, Mahfuza Rakhimova
• Grand Prix (bronze, juniors) - Nazokat Juraeva, Ozodbek Sunnatov, Ayubhon Avazov
Individual rewards:
• Nazira Alimatova - gold, pasta
• Mahfuza Rakhimova - gold, modern cousin
• Nazokat Juraeva - gold, modern cousin
• Ozodbek Sunnatov - gold, sheep
• Ayubhon Avazov - silver, beef
The festival was attended by chefs from different countries of the world, as well as world-class judges from different parts of the world.
The prizes won by Uzbeks on the basis of rigorous competitive nominations of juries consisting of world-renowned chefs are a testament to the high achievements of Uzbek cuisine, the abilities of the country's young generation, who are bringing Uzbekistan's traditions to the world community at a worthy level.
