Every day in Uzbekistan, there is growing interest in one of the most aristocratic sports – Golf. In 2015, the Uzbekistan Golf Federation was established, and its athletes successfully participate in the international competitions.
There are several mini Golf clubs in Tashkent, and visiting them will be a good solution for a fun family and youth pastime.
A large golf club, Tashkent Lakeside, should be emphasized separately. This Golf club is located in the suburban resort area of Rohat and includes not only Golf courses, but also a large territory with training areas, a tennis court, a swimming pool and sauna, a guest cottage and a restaurant with European and Uzbek cuisine.
Ideal 18-hole Golf courses cover 108 hectares. This picturesque place with gentle fields and evergreen lawns is a great option to combine business with pleasure. Under the wide crowns of trees lakes and mini-waterfalls are hidden, which have become natural barriers to the classic game of golf. In addition, the ideal climate of the region and immaculate courses make it possible to play golf regardless of the times of year.
Several more clubs are planned to be opened soon. For example, in Samarkand, a large plot of land will be allocated for the construction of a large Golf complex.
