The International Jeep Sprint tournament was held in the Tashkent region

On February 26, the international Jeep Sprint tournament was held in the Bostanlyk district of the Tashkent region. The event is organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Association of Auto-Moto Tourism and the Administration of the Tashkent region.

It is worth to note that more than 50 professionals and about 20 amateurs took part in the competition, in particular, participants from countries such as Russia, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, on specially prepared cars. The participants competed for victory in the directions "AVT" (quad bikes), "Light" and "Extreme" on the track.

"We participated in this competition not only for the prize. The reason is that Jeep Sprint races are full of unexpected events and risks. Today's competition was also interesting for us. It was not easy to win — said one of the winners of the competition, the driver of the team "Gynesis" Dmitry Fesenko. — I have participated in similar competitions before. Last time we took third place, and although it was more difficult this time, we took first place.”

For information, Dmitry Fesenko was the first to reach the finish line in the direction of "Light" together with his partner Timur Yarullin.

According to the results of the competitions on the AVT track (ATVs), “The Stels” team took 1st place, “The Tavaksai” team took 2nd place, and “The Best Chust” team took 3rd place. In the "Light" category, the 1st place went to the "Gygenesis" team, the 2nd place to the "JAZZ" team, the 3rd place to the "GSS" team. Also on the "Extreme" track, the 1st place was taken by the "Fortuna" team, the 2nd place by "The Best chust", and the 3rd place by "KIP".

The organizers presented non-traditional trophies, diplomas, and valuable gifts to the winners of the contest. In addition, the participants who took an active part in the competition were awarded trophies and awards in various categories.

It should be noted that the purpose of organizing this competition is to develop in the country the directions of automobile and motorcycle tourism, ATV tourism, off-road tourism (jeeping), auto tourism and family tourism, as well as ecotourism, studying the problems and proposals of entrepreneurs serving tourists in the direction of auto-moto tourism, representing the rights and interests of auto-moto tourists, visiting the country, further improving the tourist image of the country, the development of auto-moto tourism as a new tourist destination.
