The International Ziyarah Tourism Week will be held in Uzbekistan

This year, from November 1 to November 7, the International Ziyarah (pilgrimage) Tourism Week will be held in several regions of our country.


Within the framework of the International Week, exhibitions, seminars, scientific and practical conferences and cultural and educational events will be held aimed at the development of pilgrimage tourism, as well as promoting thematic souvenirs. Participants of the event are waiting for:

- The official opening of the International Week of Ziyorat Tourism, the conference "Islamic Heritage of Uzbekistan", the festival of folk melodies and songs in the new Silk Road Tourist Center in Samarkand (The first day of the event – November 1);

- Festival "Ko'ngil ohanglari" ("Melodies of the heart") in Registan, sightseeing tour of the city of Samarkand (The second day of the event – November 2);

- Forum "Graduates of the Mir Arab Madrasah", sightseeing tour of the city of Bukhara (The third day of the event – November 3);

- Exhibitions "Modern Islamic Architecture" at the Bahauddin Naqshband Memorial Complex and "Islamic Calligraphy and Decoration" at the Naqshband Crafts Center in Bukhara (The fourth day of the event – November 4);

- Conference dedicated to the "Scientific Heritage of Mahmoud Az-Zamakhshari" in the center of Ichan-Kala, International craft exhibitions and fair of masters of applied arts and artisans of different nations "Masters of the World" dedicated to "Khiva – the capital of tourism of the Islamic world", conference "Instructions of Najmiddin Kubro" in Khiva (The fifth day of the event – November 5);

- "Round table" dedicated to the topic "Islamic economy", the exhibition "National clothes", sightseeing tour to the Hazrati Imam complex in Tashkent (The sixth day of the event – November 6);

- The “Halol turizm” conference in the Tashkent City Congress Hall, the “Halol taomlar” festival in Navruz Park, the closing ceremony of the International Ziyorat Tourism Week, a Gala concert in Tashkent City (the last day of the event – November 7).


Also, within the framework of the week, it is planned to hold press conferences and briefings with comprehensive coverage of these events in local and foreign media.


It should be noted that the main goal of holding the International Week is to more effectively use the potential of pilgrimage tourism in our country, present Uzbekistan as one of the most important centers of world civilization, gain high recognition from the world community and international organizations, as well as diversify pilgrimage tourism services and increase tourism exports.
