The famous film director of such feature films as "Moon Dad" (1999), "Chic" (2003), "Waiting for the Sea" (2012). Bakhtiyor Khudoynazarov wrote a script about ancient Uzbek customs a few years ago. But it was not possible to realize a touching love story called "Halola".

At the 75th Cannes Film Festival at the National Pavilion of Uzbekistan, a meeting was held with producer Volodimir Filippov, the owner of the rights to this script.

During the negotiations, a memorandum was signed between the production company of Volodymyr Filippov and the State Unitary Enterprise "National PR-Center" on the development of film locations for the filming of the film in Khiva. Exact locations will be chosen in September.
