Based on the tasks defined in the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated April 30, 2022 No. DP-232 “On additional measures to diversify domestic tourism services,” the Tourism Committee, together with the Tax Committee, launched a new cashback system.

According to it, starting from September 1, 2022, as part of the “Travel and Get Cashback” program, part of the expenses of citizens who made domestic trips to the regions of our country will be returned.

In total, in 2023, more than 177 million soums were returned to compatriots who traveled around Uzbekistan as cashback.

We remind you that travel expenses are refunded for each tourist in the following amounts:

● 15 percent of the cost of a round trip air ticket, but not more than 150 thousand soums;

● 15 percent of the cost of a round-trip ticket by rail or bus, but not more than 80 thousand soums;

● 15 percent of the cost of an overnight stay in an accommodation facility, but not more than 80 thousand soums;

● 50 percent of the cost of each ticket to visit theaters, museums, circuses and art galleries, but not more than 20 thousand soums.

You can download the Soliq.uz mobile application and, having confirmed your identity using FaceID, use the program to receive cashback for travel. Next, select the trip route and indicate the start date, enter information about your air, train or bus tickets, scan fiscal receipts, and upon completion of the trip, click the “Complete trip” button and transfer the received cashback to your personal plastic card from a local bank.

The cashback system is integrated with a special mobile application of the Tax Committee (Soliq.uz), which makes it possible to monitor the correctness of the entered data and register trips by scanning the barcodes of receipts, as well as display the places of residence of tourists.
