MALThe Malaysian state television channel “TV Okey” will apprise audience of the tourism potential of Uzbekistan
The Tourism Committee and the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Malaysia organized a visit of the team of the media company Sulalatus Salatin Sdn Bhd, commissioned by the Malaysian state television channel TV Okey, to Uzbekistan on May 3-10 this year.
For information, the TV Okey channel of the Malaysian State Broadcasting Company is popular in the cultural and entertainment segment. The channel also broadcasts in Singapore, Thailand, Northern Indonesia and the Philippines.
The purpose of the visit is to prepare and display media content for a series of television programs consisting of 6 episodes dedicated to the tourism potential, cultural and historical heritage of Uzbekistan.
The TV shows will consist of two main parts. Some of them will be devoted to the cultural heritage, tourism infrastructure, nature of the country, in particular of the Bostonlik district of the Tashkent region, and the cities such Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara.
Other episodes were filmed in restaurants and markets, in particular at the Chorsu market in Tashkent, Siab in Samarkand and so on, to highlight the gastronomic and agrotourism potential.
