Chairman of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan Nurdinjon Ismoilov, Minister of Culture Ozodbek Nazarbekov, People's Poet of Uzbekistan Sirozhiddin Sayid, mother of the champion Guzal Tozhiboeva, favorite artists Yodgor Sadiyev and Raino Shodieva sincerely congratulated the laureates of the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics.
The champions of the games Uchkun Kuronboev and Gulzhanoy Naimova on behalf of the para-athletes thanked the head of state for the care and created conditions, promised to do everything to continue it is worthy to defend the sporting honor of the country.
Премьер-министр Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov, on behalf of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, congratulated the para-athletes and their mentors, conveyed to them the words of gratitude of the head of state. The heroes of the Paralympic Games were presented with special gifts on behalf of the head of state. Each champion received the keys to a Tahoe car and a three-room apartment in Tashkent. Silver medalists were awarded with Traverse cars and a two-room apartment in the capital. And the owners of bronze awards now they have become owners of Traiblazer cars and a one-room apartment in Tashkent. It was also mentioned about the awarding of cash prizes to all medalists (respectively, 200, 100 and 50 thousand US dollars).
Everyone together enthusiastically sang the national anthem of Uzbekistan. The night sky was lit up by volleys of festive fireworks in honor of the heroes of the Paralympics.
