According to the Presidential Decree, during the celebration of Navruz, Uzbekistanis will rest for 5 days holiday.
On the eve of the holiday, on March 18, a barbecue kebab festival will be held in Samarkand.
According to the organizers of the festival, the Main Department for Tourism and Cultural Heritage of the Samarkand region discussed organizational issues with the responsible persons of public catering establishments operating in the city of Samarkand.
Guests can visit the festival and taste a wide variety of types of shish-kebabs on all days of the holidays.
Also, during the festival on March, 19, guest will have an opportunity to attend major ulak-kupkari competitions in the Jambay district.
And in the Central Park named after Alisher Navoi and the adjacent streets of Alisher Navoi and Kamol Ataturk, the main folk festivals of the region will be held, and a concert program in the amphitheater "Mizhiza".
