Regular selective observations on inbound and outbound tourism in the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan since May 2024, surveys of foreign tourists have been conducted in all regions of the republic.

On the recommendation of the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), the survey is conducted at least once every two years, starting in 2018.

On May 5 of this year, a survey was conducted at customs and border checkpoints located at airports, highways and railways in 13 regions of the republic, the opinions and suggestions of more than 10 thousand respondents were studied.

In particular, on May 30, 2024, an international UNWTO expert was invited to the interview process conducted by interviewers at Tashkent Islam Karimov International Airport, and the expert shared his thoughts.

The survey will last until June 6 this year, it is expected that about 14 thousand respondents (foreign tourists) will take part in the survey.
