"Sharq Taronalari" XIII International Music Festival held in Samarkand

From August 25 to 27, 2024, the 13th festival "Sharq taronalari" was held in the city of Samarkand under the auspices of UNESCO.

On August 26, the official opening ceremony of the "Sharq taronalari" festival took place.

The opening ceremony was attended by creative teams from 80 countries, representatives of the diplomatic corps, officials of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The opening ceremony of the festival was attended by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

Then the performances of the creative teams - participants of the festival took place.

For information: The first festival was held in 1997, it was attended by musicians and vocalists from 31 countries, the 12th festival in 2019 was attended by representatives of 75 countries. This festival is attended by more than 300 representatives from 80 countries, including Russia.
