This year, one of the most prestigious universities of Uzbekistan in the field of tourism - the Silk Road International University of Tourism in Samarkand celebrates 3 years anniversary. The Silk Road International University of Tourism was opened in July 2018 in Samarkand on the initiative of the President Sh.M. Mirziyoyev at the SCO Summit in the Chinese city of Qingdao.

Students of the master's degree department can get a full-fledged higher education in the following areas:
Producting Multimedia objects (1+1) together with the program of the Don Technical University;
Theory and History of architecture, Restoration of the Architectural Heritage (1+1) together with the Don Technical University;
International specialized tourism (1 year), EQAR accredited program of the University of Tourism and Management (Macedonia).
