MALSubsidies will be allocated for the development of domestic and pilgrimage tourism
Excellent news for tour operators and travel agents, subsidies will now be provided for some tourist services created for the population on tourist routes in order to develop domestic and pilgrimage tourism throughout the country.
This is stated in particular in the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 100 of February 24, 2021 "On additional measures for the development of domestic and pilgrimage tourism" and in Annex 5. In accordance with the Regulation on the procedure for reimbursing part of travel expenses from the republican budget of the Republic of Uzbekistan to tour operators and travel agents for air and railway tickets for trips organized throughout Uzbekistan for local tourists, 15% subsidies have been introduced, and the procedure for allocating subsidies in the amount of 10% to cover the cost of hotel services of vehicles has been established.
To take advantage of the opportunity, that is, to receive a subsidy, the travel organizer submits to the Ministry of Tourism and Sports the necessary documents in writing to info@motas.uz with an application no later than the 15th day of the following month in the form specified in Annex 3 to the Regulation.
As a result of this subsidy, the activities of economic entities and transport enterprises in the field of tourism will improve. At the same time, the state provides benefits to organizations working in the field of tourism by providing copies of contracts for the provision of services to local tourists and documents confirming the payment of air and railway tickets.
In turn, as a result of the benefits created, the development of domestic travel for the population of the republic is achieved.
