Tajikistan organized an info tour for Uzbekistan

Within the framework of cooperation between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan in the field of tourism under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan on May 5-7 this year, an "Info tour" was organized to the city of Khujand in Sughd region with the participation of 30 representatives of tour operators from Uzbekistan.

The tour program consists of three days. The reception of the guests will take place at the border crossing "Fotehabad" in Mastcha district. On the first day, travel companies will visit the historical and cultural complex of the Kamola Khujand Park and the Zarafshon Tourist Information Center. Then, to the Panjshanbeh Market, the central mosque of Sheikh Maslikhatdin in Khujand, the Arbob Palace of Culture in the Gafurov district, the Vakhdat National Park in the Gafurov district, the Shifo and Bahoriston sanatoriums in the city of Guliston, the reservoir "Bahri Tojik".

On the second day, a conference on the topic "Presentation of tourist opportunities of Sughd region" will be held, a ceremony of signing an agreement on cooperation between tourism companies of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan will be held. The guests will also visit tourist sites in the city of Istaravshan, in particular, the historical complex "Sari Mazor" and artisan centers. In the city of Penjikent there is a mausoleum "Hola Manammadi Bashoro".

On the third day, tourist companies will continue to explore Penjikent, visiting the historical reserve "Ancient Penjikent", "The Republican Historical and Ethnographic Museum named after Abuabdullo Rudaki", the historical and archaeological reserve "Sarazm". The infotour will end with the departure of the guests to the Samarkand region through the Sarazm checkpoint in Penjikent.

Such tours will serve to strengthen the centuries-old friendly relations between the two fraternal peoples.
