“TANDIR FEST” - a festival of national traditions took place in Baysun

On May 2-4 of this year, the “Tandir Fest” festival was held for the first time in a picturesque and unique corner of the Baysun district of the Surkhandarya region - in the tourist complex “Boysun Bakhori” (Baysun Spring).

At the festival, held with the aim of widely popularizing national values, rich culinary traditions, folk applied art and cultural heritage, as well as increasing the flow of tourists to our country, chefs from 15 districts of the Surkhandarya region widely demonstrated the gastronomic tourism potential of the region.

As part of the three-day festival, master classes on the preparation of “Tandoor meat” with the participation of skilled chefs, exhibitions of national traditions and folk applied art, cultural and craft fairs, launching balloons, live music, performances of folklore groups and national dances were organized for guests.

The festival's closing ceremony ended with a gala concert featuring famous artists.
