Teacher and Mentor’s Day – October 1

Teachers and mentors are highly respected in Uzbekistan. Every pupil, student, and trainee considers it their duty to congratulate their mentor on this day. A teacher is like a second parent, helping to shape a personality and provide valuable knowledge and skills.

Uzbekistan is known as the homeland of great scholars and educators such as Muhammad al-Bukhari, Abu Rayhan al-Biruni, Ahmad al-Fergani, Mirzo Ulugbek, and Zahiriddin Babur. 

Their contribution to science and education remains invaluable today.
