The national exhibition "Made in Uzbekistan" opened in St. Petersburg

Today, July 27, the National exhibition "MADE IN UZBEKISTAN" began its activity in the exhibition hall of the Lenpoligrafmash Congress Center in St. Petersburg.

The exhibition is organized by the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan with the assistance of the Consulate General of the Republic of Uzbekistan in St. Petersburg.

The "MADE IN UZBEKISTAN" project, held in the "Road show" format in the cities of the Russian Federation, provides a unique opportunity to get acquainted with the scientific and production potential of our republic, the richest cultural and historical heritage, directly negotiate with representatives of state structures and the business community, and conclude profitable contracts.

The exhibition was opened with a welcoming speech by the head of the Committee on External Relations of St. Petersburg Andrey Khlutkov and the Consul General of the Russian Federation in St. Petersburg Alisher Babayev.

According to the organizers, the national exhibition of export products "MADE IN UZBEKISTAN" is an excellent opportunity to promote national products to the foreign market, expand the geography and increase export volumes, stimulate the production of high - quality and competitive export-oriented products, widely familiarize exhibition visitors with the scientific and production potential of the Republic of Uzbekistan, present the country's broad opportunities for investment projects, demonstrate the richest cultural and historical heritage and tourism development of Uzbekistan.

The exhibition presents products of the construction, electrical, food industries of Uzbekistan (confectionery, bakery products, national oriental sweets, fresh and processed fruit and vegetable products, juices, beverages, melons, alcohol products), textile industry (cotton fabrics, natural silk fabrics, knitwear, sewing products, a collection of highly artistic products), leather and footwear industry (men's, women's and children's leather shoes, bags, leather and haberdashery products), pharmaceutical industry (medicines and preparations, medical devices).

Within the framework of "MADE IN UZBEKISTAN", the section of folk and applied art and the tourism potential of the republic was widely demonstrated at the stand of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports.

Also, for the productive implementation of tasks, business meetings, presentations, press conferences and other events with the participation of heads of companies, associations, agencies, business media and leading experts are expected at the exhibition.

The exhibition will last until July 29, 2021.
