TITF-2022: The government’s role in the tourism development and the restart of the promotion of Central Asia in the global market will be discussed at the forum

The government’s role in the tourism development in the country will be discussed at the 2nd panel session of the Forum within the framework of the Tashkent International Tourism Fair "Tourism on the Silk Road" (TITF-2022).

Among the participants are prominent statesmen and heads of tourism organizations, tourism ambassadors and many others.

The moderator of the 2nd panel session will be Sergey Stanovkin, head of the commercial service of BBC World News in Eurasia, general producer of the Dars Films studio.

Aziz Abdukhakimov, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Minister of Tourism and Cultural Heritage, will act as the first speaker. He will talk about new state reforms in the field of tourism and cultural heritage, forecasts for the country's tourism market, and major events that are expected to be held in the republic.

Following will be the Tourism Ambassador of Uzbekistan to the UK Sophie Ibbotson, the author of many articles about Uzbekistan and a great connoisseur of oriental culture. In her presentation, she will talk about management tools and creating favorable conditions for the development of tourism.

Maya Lomidze, Executive Director of the Association of Russian Tourist Organizations (ATOR), will also be a speaker at this session.

The topic of state policy in the field of tourism will also be touched upon at the 7th panel session of the Forum - "Restarting the promotion of Central Asia in the global market. The panel session will be held in the format of a round table with the participation of Central Asian travel companies, where interaction between government agencies and business entities in the field of tourism will also be discussed.
