According to many international publications, our country has become one of the most attractive tourist destinations in 2020. For example, just yesterday, the British newspaper “The Telegraph” published a list of cities to visit this year. Tashkent is among them.

Agree, this is a well-deserved recognition, considering that every year more and more tourists visit our country. Here are some numbers.

6,748 million people visited Uzbekistan last year. This is 125% more than in 2018 (5.346 million people).

6,260 million people of the total number of tourists, who visited Uzbekistan, came from the CIS countries, and 488,4 thousand – from other countries.

At the same time, the export of tourist services in 2019 reached $ 1,313 billion compared to
$ 1,041 billion in 2018 (an increase of 126%).

Tourists from CIS countries ($ 966,559 million) spent more than half of this amount in our country, and travelers from other countries spent $ 346,472 million.

As we can see, tourism in Uzbekistan is developing rapidly, and this is a great achievement, as we have something to show the world.
