In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated April 30, 2022 No. 232 “On additional measures to diversify domestic tourism services”, the Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Heritage and the Tax Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan will introduce a cashback system.
Uzbekistan launched the Cashback Tourist platform as part of the “Travel around Uzbekistan!” thanks to which local tourists can now receive a refund of 15 to 50 percent of the expenses spent on traveling around the republic.
For the convenience of platform users, the “Soliq” application with a well-functioning cashback return system was used.
To start accounting for the funds spent, the user needs to start scanning receipts (QR codes) for the use of transport services, accommodation facilities and visits to cultural heritage sites. After depositing all the checks, the amount of accumulated cashback will be automatically calculated and transferred to the participant's personal plastic card within the established time frame.
