Turkish Minister of Foreign Affairs is to visit Ferghana Region

Tashkent is hosting an International Conference “Central and South Asia: Regional Connectivity, Challenges and Opportunities” on 15-16 July. Foreign ministers from the countries of Central Asia and South Asia will attend, including the Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan, the foreign minister of India Subrahmanyam Jaishankar and the President of Afghanistan Ashraf Ghani, as well as Russian foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and others.

Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey Mevlut Cavusoglu arrives in Uzbekistan today to participate in the international conference. Mevlut Cavusoglu will start his visit to Uzbekistan from the Ferghana region. 

The Turkish Foreign Minister arrives in Ferghana on July 14 on a direct flight from Istanbul. During the day, the minister will visit the Center of Artisans in Margilan, melon plantations in the Kushtepa district, the palace of Khudoyar Khan and the cathedral mosque in Kokand.

On the same day, after completing his visit to Ferghana, Mevlut Cavusoglu will go to Tashkent to participate in an international conference.
