MALUzbekistan took part with a National Tourist Stand at the 15th Central Asia - Republic of Korea Cooperation Forum
On October 25 of this year, the delegation of the Republic of Uzbekistan participated in the 15th Central Asia - Republic of Korea Cooperation Forum in the city of Busan (Korea). The National PR-Centre under the Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Heritage of the Republic of Uzbekistan, together with the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Korea and the diplomatic mission of Korea in Uzbekistan, organized a presentation on the tourism potential of our country.
The Forum was attended by the heads of foreign ministries of the Central Asian states and the Republic of Korea, as well as representatives of relevant ministries and departments, academic and expert circles. Also, it is worth noting that during the forum, representatives of travel companies actively demonstrated the tourism potential of our country among Central Asia, in order to show and promote our tourism brand at the global level.
The agenda of this Forum discussed issues of cooperation in the fields of healthcare, digitalization, tourism, environment and economic security. The forum participants highly appreciated the cardinal reforms being implemented in our Republic.
During the Forum, several sessions also took place. In the session dedicated to the topic “Tourism”, the Director of the National PR-Centre made a presentation on the tourism potential.
