CNUzbekistan recognized as the best tourist destination among CIS countries
According to the results of the competition, the expert jury of the National Tourism Award "Russian Traveler Awards 2024", organized by the Russian magazine "Russian Traveler", recognized the Republic of Uzbekistan as the winner in the nomination "Tourism in the CIS". The award ceremony was attended by a delegation from Uzbekistan headed by the First Deputy Chairman of the Tourism Committee, Jamshid Abdusalomov. 
For reference: Russian Traveler magazine is a Russian publication dedicated to domestic travel and popular international destinations. It offers articles with travel ideas, expert advice and live photos. The first issue of the magazine was presented at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum in 2022.
The magazine also organizes the annual Russian Traveller Awards, which recognizes the best destinations, hotels, cruises and other aspects of tourism in Russia.
In July 2024, a special issue of the Russian magazine "Uzbekistan - Eastern Fairy Tale" was published, dedicated to the tourism potential of Uzbekistan, which aroused great interest among Russian readers.
