Uzbekistan takes part at Halal In Travel Global Summit -2021

Today, July 13, the online Halal In Travel Global Summit 2021, organized by the Singapore CrescentRating company, began its work. At the official opening of the event, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan-Minister of Tourism and Sports Aziz Abdukhakimov spoke as a high guest.

Halal In Travel Global Summit 2021 is a global online event that brings together experts, representatives of national tourism organizations and stakeholders in the field of Halal tourism. The Halal In Travel project was firstly launched in 2016 at the ITB-Asia International Exhibition in Singapore.

Travel industry professionals, the largest restaurateurs and hoteliers for the first time got an invaluable idea of how they can strengthen their positions in the sector, which is currently estimated at billions of dollars.

According to the Mastercard-Crescent Rating Global Muslim Travel Index 2018, the global Muslim travel market amounted to 167 billion US dollars in 2017 and is projected to grow to 220 billion US dollars by 2020.

Halal In Travel Global Summit allows delegates to tap into this fast-growing halal travel market through discussions with experts from different fields.

The topic of this year's online summit is devoted to issues and projects on preparing for the Muslim tourism market after COVID-19.

Halal In Travel Global Summit 2021 will be held from July, 13 to July 15, 2021.

The three-day event is expected to publish the Mastercard CrescentRating Global Muslim Travel Index 2021 (international rating of Muslim travel) with the positions of countries for this year.

According to information, this year Uzbekistan will take the 16th place in the prestigious rating, rising by 6 points compared to 2019.
