MALThe villages of “Kainar” and “Bashir” of the Kashkadarya region have officially been awarded the status of “Tourist Village”
On May 29 of this year, the Tourism Committee solemnly presented certificates confirming the status of “Tourist Village” to residents of the villages of “Kainar” and “Bashir” located in the Kitab district of the Kashkadarya region.
The ceremony was attended by representatives of the Tourism Committee, regional and district khokimiyats, the general local community and the media. Tour operators, travel agents, owners of hotels, hostels, guest houses and other representatives of the tourism sector operating in the field of domestic tourism were also invited to the ceremony.
As part of the event, an exhibition of national handicrafts made by local artisans, as well as Uzbek national dishes presented to the guests, made a great impression on everyone. In addition, the guests were especially interested in the performances of creative employees of the Department of Culture of the Kitab district and folklore groups. National melodies, dances and songs gave the event an unforgettable flavor and created a sincere atmosphere. These villages, combining traditional values, hospitality and cultural wealth, will now become even more attractive places for tourists.
The status of “Tourist Village” not only increases the prestige of these regions, but also helps to ensure employment for the population living there, develop infrastructure and expand economic opportunities.
