MAL“Welcome to Bustanlik”: a great opportunity to enjoy the taste of national dishes
On August 11, 2022, the International Festival of National Dishes “Welcome to Bustanlik” will be held in the Bustanlik district of the Tashkent region.
The event was organized by the Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Heritage of the Republic of Uzbekistan together with the Khokimiyat of the Tashkent region. The National PR-centre, the Department of Tourism and Cultural Heritage of the Tashkent region with the support of the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Health, the all-season resort Amirsoy Resort and other organizations also participate in organizing the event.
More than 6,000 guests are expected to participate in the festival, including more than 1,000 representatives of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Belarus and other CIS countries. Among them: leading chefs, restaurateurs, management personnel of catering establishments and others.
The festival will include competitions, master classes in cooking dishes of national and foreign cuisine, performances by musical groups, etc.
This initiative is of great importance in the development of gastronomic and other types of tourism in the Tashkent region. The main purpose of the event is to promote and popularize gastronomic tourism in Uzbekistan, as well as:
– strengthening tourism interaction, trust, friendship and good neighborliness between countries;
– maintaining peace and security;
– maintenance and conservation of natural objects;
– promotion of the tourism potential of Uzbekistan.
