January 15-16, the Tashkent State Circus will host the International Cat exhibition “Wool and Silk”.
The exhibition of cats “Wool and Silk” is designed to become a unique event, held on a regular basis, which will attract the attention of the public and tourists to the problem of animal protection.
The exhibition will be held with the support of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the non-profit organization for the protection of animals “Khayot" and «Mushukkent" project.
The exhibition will be attended by cat breeders from Uzbekistan and foreign countries, as well as well-known experts from Russia and the Netherlands.
The exhibition program includes contests among different cat breeds, show programs, fairs and charity events. Within the framework of the exhibition, various games will be held with the participation of children, designed to instill love for animals.
According to the organizers, such exhibitions are widely held in many major cities of the world in order to popularize the love of animals, responsible treatment of them, and the development of a culture of treatment of animals.
Since 2016, similar exhibitions have already been held in Tashkent, among which it is worth noting the projects "Spring Koshkent", "Autumn Koshkent", "Koshemir" and "CatWorld".
Entrance to the exhibition is paid. Most of the collected funds from ticket sales will be transferred to cover the costs of repairing the foyer of the Tashkent State Circus.
