MALLoong Air launches direct flights to Uzbekistan
Chinese Loong Air (Zhejiang Loong Airlines Co. Ltd) plans to launch direct scheduled flights to Xi'an-Tashkent-Xi'an. The first passenger flight will be carried out on February 10, 2023. Regular flights to the Chinese province and Tashkent will be operated by Airbus A320 aircraft once a week — on Fridays.
Zhejiang Loong Airlines Co. Ltd is a Chinese airline founded in 2011, headquartered in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province. By 2019, the Chinese airline's fleet consisted of 44 passenger and 3 cargo aircraft of the B737 brand, performing passenger and cargo transportation to 14 international and regional destinations.
On December 16, 2019, Zhejiang Loong Airlines Co., Ltd received official permission to perform regular flights in Uzbekistan, in particular, on the route Xi'an-Tashkent-Xi'an. On September 27, 2020, the airline carried out the first charter flight on this route.
