SUBLIMATION FESTIVAL

While the world is increasingly looking towards Central Asia, Uzbekistan is undergoing a quiet but tangible transformation of sound, creative environment, and cultural identity. Sublimation Festival is returning with a new program.  Sublimation is not just a festival, but a movement that changes the perception of the region's contemporary musical and creative scene.

In a world where cultural trends often come from outside, Sublimation is going the opposite way - sharing with the world what was born here, in Uzbekistan.

The festival emerged at the intersection of music, creative initiatives, and the joint search for new forms of self-expression. Today, it strives to become one of Uzbekistan's most notable cultural events and draws the attention of the international community to Uzbekistan's contemporary culture. Its founders - cultural strategist and producer Madina Ishmuradova and artist, program director, and music producer Sabina Inoyatova - have combined their experience working with artists and vision of the global creative environment to create a space where tradition and avant-garde, local and global, meet.

The theme of 2025 is inspiration.

The participation of Boiler Room holds a special place - a platform where artists like Nina Kraviz, Peggy Gou, Solomun, Black Coffee, Charli XCX, OFFSET, and many others began their careers and gained worldwide recognition. Today, Boiler Room broadcasts gather millions of viewers worldwide, becoming a bridge between local scenes and global audiences. The return of Boiler Room to Tashkent confirms that Uzbekistan's musical energy is already playing on the world map.

The program will unite world and local artists: Acid Arab, Kikelomo, Basic Channel, No Plastic will perform together with Sabinē, Trace, Lola, Bu Qala, the Youth Choir of Uzbekistan and other local artists. One of the scenes will be given to the global music platform Boiler Room - whose broadcasts are watched by millions of viewers in more than 200 countries. The festival will be covered by international media - Resident Advisor, Dazed, and Mixmag, and media support throughout the year will be provided by Refuge Worldwide.

This year, the Sublimation Festival will be held in an open air format, on the grounds of the Yunusobod Sports Complex.  The spaces of the complexes at the base of the Tashkent TV Tower will be transformed by lighting and multimedia installations, several thematic scenes.

Thus, for several days, the territory near the TV Tower will become a symbol and "beacon" of change. Here, music will breathe, rhythm will fill, and the atmosphere of creativity will give energy.

In addition to artists' performances and entertainment events, a closed educational conference will be organized with Resident Advisor for professionals and beginners in the music field during the festival days.

The atmosphere of Sublimation is the energy of music, visual art, unexpected collaborations, and the feeling that you're at the heart of a significant cultural event for Uzbekistan that will leave an indelible impression.
