Andijan hosted the first day of the trophy tour of the Futsal World Cup 2024

On August 10, the first day of the trophy tour of the Futsal World Cup 2024 was held in Andijan.

It began with two events - a children's sports festival and a cup exhibition. The first event was attended by 300 children from sports schools and socially vulnerable groups of the population.

The official mascot of the Futsal World Cup 2024, XON, appeared there for the first time. Its creation was based on the Turanian tigers, which existed in Central Asia, Northern Iran and Caucasus until the middle of the last century.

The cup continued its journey in the Eco Park of Andijan, where all residents of the city had the opportunity to take a memorable photo, as well as take part in competitions and draws from FIFA and partners. One of the guests of the event was the mer of Andijan region Shuhratbek Abdurahmonov.

Further, the trophy will go to Fergana. The entire trophy tour will last until August 24 and will visit 13 cities.
