MALAnother prestigious international conference is being held in Kokand
This year on June 8-10, the University of Kokand is hosting the prestigious international conference –“The role of the Kokand Khanate in the development of statehood and cultural heritage of the Turkic peoples”. Within the framework of the conference, it is planned to organize conferences and sessions, as well as info-tours for foreign guests.
This conference was organized in cooperation with the University of Kokand, the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education, the Fergana Region Municipality, the Ministry of Tourism and cultural heritage, the organization of Turkic states, TURKSOY, the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies, the University of world economy and diplomacy and the University of Kokand, which includes more than 20 speakers from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Hungary and other foreign countries, as well as more than 30 higher education institutions, and more than 50 representatives of international organizations and expert communities.
“It is known from history that during the time of the Kokand Khanate, the state was ruled by rights and justice, much attention was paid to the development of science, architecture, culture, craftsmanship and the prosperity of art. We will not be mistaken if we say that your research of “The role of the Kokand Khanate in the development of statehood and the cultural heritage of the Turkic peoples” will draw lessons from the past and lead to great changes.” – The Minister of Tourism and cultural heritage Aziz Abdukhakimov opened the event with his speech.
In order to participate in the conference, all foreign guests are invited to Kokand University, including representatives of Istanbul University, Ankara University, Hodjattepe University, Baku State University, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Bishkek State University, Turkmen state University named after Makhtumkuli, Budapest University, International Representatives of Turkish cultural organizations, as well as delegations of Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies, Alisher Navoi Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature, University of World Economy and Diplomacy.
