“Korea New Network” (KNN) is a leading South Korean broadcaster, which is launching a TV project "Asian Crafts", consisting of 36 episodes. As part of this project, a video is being prepared on the topic “Golden Threads of Bukhara” which is about the crafts of Uzbekistan, including embroidery and jewelry.
According to the project, implemented with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, at the initiative of the Asian Regional Secretary, the International Organization of Folk-Art Moon Hyuk Sok, the creative team of the KNN television company is currently in Uzbekistan.
To create a video, the creative team shoots at cultural heritage sites in Tashkent and the Bukhara region. This media content will further promote the cultural and tourism potential of Uzbekistan in Korean and the East Asian region, as well as increase the number of tourists entering our country.
For your information, “Korea New Network” (KNN) had begun its operations in 1995 and was awarded the Korea Broadcasting Awards. The media company has collected 50 different types of handicraft shows from 30 countries in Asia - the first time it is filmed as a 36-episode series.
