The Tourism Committee, together with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in order to widely promote the tourism potential of Uzbekistan in the Russian state, the creative team of the travel show “Попутчик” of the NTV channel organized a visit to Uzbekistan.

In December 2023, with the support of the Committee for Tourism, the NTV channel’s “Попутчик” program aired a 52-minute report on the cultural and tourism potential of Uzbekistan by showman Timur Rodriguez. The first presentation number of the television program “Попутчик” was filmed in the capital of our country and the sights of the city of Samarkand. Taking into account the tourist show “Попутчик” and the interest of Russian viewers in Uzbekistan, the second season of this television program is being filmed in the Tashkent and Bukhara regions of our country, as well as in the city of Tashkent.

This project is being filmed throughout Uzbekistan on May 26-30 under the direction of the famous Russian TV presenter, showman and musician Timur Rodriguez.

The project is accompanied by responsible employees of the Tourism Committee under the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
