Discounts announced in honor of the Navruz Holiday

In connection with the celebration of Navruz on March 21, a number of discounts have been introduced to create convenient conditions for residents and tourists. These discounts apply to visits to cultural heritage sites under the management of the Cultural Heritage Agency and the Public Charitable Foundation “Vaqf”, as well as to services provided by entrepreneurs operating in the tourism sector. 

In particular, during the holiday period, a 10% discount from the established ticket price will be applied to entrance tickets for holy pilgrimage sites (ziyoratgohs) managed by the “Vaqf” Charitable Foundation.

In addition, state museums under the Cultural Heritage Agency have been recommended, for the duration of the holidays, to:

• ensure open access and uninterrupted operation of cultural heritage sites and state museums;
• introduce discounts on entrance tickets to museums and cultural heritage sites.

Tourism sector entrepreneurs are also voluntarily offering holiday discounts of up to 20% on accommodation at hotels, guest houses, and other lodging facilities. These discounts create favorable conditions for both domestic and international tourists, allowing them to celebrate Navruz in different regions of the country. This initiative also contributes to increasing public interest in the historical and cultural heritage of Uzbekistan.

In addition, state theaters in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, regional centers, and the city of Tashkent, operating under the Ministry of Culture, will host a “Theatre Performance Week” from March 21 to 27. During this period, theater enthusiasts will be able to attend free performances by obtaining invitation tickets at open ticket offices.

Such initiatives contribute to the development of domestic tourism, the effective use of cultural heritage sites, and the enhancement of the public’s leisure culture.
